1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use our services.
2. Services We Provide
LabMedical Clinical Laboratory provides clinical laboratory testing services as ordered by your healthcare provider or as requested by you directly. Our services include:
- Specimen collection (blood draws, urine samples, swabs, etc.)
- Laboratory analysis using validated testing methods
- Reporting of test results to patients and healthcare providers
- Consultation on test selection and preparation requirements
Results are typically available within 24-48 hours unless otherwise specified. Some specialized tests may take longer. We will inform you of any delays that may affect your results.
3. Appointments and Walk-ins
Most tests do not require an appointment. You may walk in during our normal business hours. For certain specialized tests (such as glucose tolerance tests or specialized panels), an appointment may be required. We will inform you at the time of scheduling if your test requires:
- Fasting (typically 10-12 hours)
- Special preparation (medication adjustments, dietary restrictions)
- Specific timing of collection
4. Test Orders and Requisitions
Many of our tests require a valid order from a licensed healthcare provider. We accept orders from physicians, nurse practitioners, and other qualified providers in all the states where we operate. If you are ordering your own tests (direct-to-consumer), you may do so for specific tests in accordance with state regulations.
We reserve the right to refuse to perform any test if we believe the order is invalid, fraudulent, or poses a risk to patient safety.
5. Payment and Insurance
Payment is due at the time of service unless insurance coverage is confirmed before your visit. We accept most major insurance plans and will bill your insurance directly. You are responsible for:
- All co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles as specified by your plan
- Any amounts not covered by your insurance
- Providing accurate and current insurance information
If you are uninsured or prefer to pay out-of-pocket, our prices are transparent and available upon request. We offer payment plans for qualified individuals. Please contact our billing department for more information.
6. Test Results Delivery
Test results will be delivered to you through the method you select at the time of service:
- Secure patient portal access
- Email (encrypted)
- WhatsApp (for non-sensitive results)
- Pickup at any of our locations
Results are also automatically sent to your ordering healthcare provider. If you have questions about interpreting your results, please contact your healthcare provider directly. Our staff can explain the testing process but cannot provide medical advice or diagnosis.
7. Patient Responsibilities
As a patient, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your identity, medical history, and insurance
- Follow all preparation instructions provided (including fasting requirements)
- Inform us of any medications, supplements, or substances that may affect test results
- Pay for services rendered in a timely manner
- Treat our staff and other patients with respect
8. Limitation of Liability
LabMedical provides test results for informational purposes only. These results should be interpreted by a qualified healthcare provider in the context of your overall health, medical history, and clinical presentation. We are not responsible for:
- Medical decisions made based on test results without consultation with a healthcare professional
- Delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control (instrument failure, supply shortages, shipping delays, etc.)
- Consequential damages arising from the use of our services, to the extent permitted by law
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific test in question.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
If you need to cancel a test or appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. Refunds for tests not yet performed will be processed according to our refund policy. Once a specimen has been collected and testing has begun, fees may not be refundable.
